Final Word from Event Organiser

As the Event Organiser for the Carnival, I would particularly like to thank the Organising Committee for the 2008 Tri Series Competition for the many hours of effort spent in the lead-up to the Carnival and
throughout the Carnival. I would also like to extend a big “Thank you” to their spouses for being so understanding and helpful.

Special thanks to:

John Forsythe – Co-ordinator of the event entries and Chief Judge
Geoff Jones - Chief of Scoring
Rob Holbrook – Web site design and services
Lee Hageman – Catering and dinners
Steve Etheridge - Event Treasurer and announcing
Greg Toms & Geoff Rudd – Non-stop workers in the field of play
Sue Natoli - Representing Australian Canoeing, the Slalom Technical Committee, Chief Official for the event & tireless worker
Graeme Caudry - Chief Judge
Colin & Anita Roche – Boat control & presentation

And to the many other helpers from all over Australia and New Zealand who worked to make this carnival a huge success - a big “Thank you” from the NSW Slalom & Wildwater Committee for doing a fantastic job.

The Paddlers, (of all ages & craft types) who competed with amazing sprit and enthusiasm, made me extremely proud to be associated with this event

Thanks everyone for a great experience! I look forward to seeing you on a river somewhere.
